Grass-fed or 100% Grass-fed Beef?
What’s the difference between beef that’s grass-fed and beef that is 100% grass-fed? Aren’t they the same thing?
Let’s find out!
Grass-fed versus 100% Grass-fed Beef
Grass-fed Beef
Grass-fed beef comes from cows that were fed not only grass but may have also been fed supplemental grain. So, while you get some extra benefits that you wouldn’t get with only grain-fed beef, you’re not getting the full benefits like you would with 100% grass-fed beef.
100% Grass-fed Beef
100% grass-fed beef comes from cows that were never fed any grain. Ever. They were raised as cows were meant to be–on grass.
